It’s been a hard 10 days.On October 6th my husband fell off the roof he was working on and messed his leg up badly. He had shattered his shin right below the knee, broke the same bone just below that and the bone behind that. He obviously had surgery. The doctor put in a long metal plate, now he needs to heal.

The family is still adjusting to the change and keep praying the Lord will heal Mark fully.

I’m a mess. I am still trying to deal with my fathers death and now this. I am functioning by the grace of God.

    • I’m sorry you’ve got such a full plate right now!

I hope your husband’s recovery goes well and that life remains calm enough for you to focus your energies on getting past your grief and helping him to heal.

    • Hi Heidi ,

I am so sorry to hear about your husbands fall, and his injury. I am keeping you all in my thoughts.  I am also so sorry to hear of your recent loss of your father, I have not lost a parent, but have recently lost a very dear close friend, to cancer, and am also trying to deal with that, so if you need someone to talk to, I am here.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    • Hi Heidi,
It has been a while so I thought I’d ask about your husbands recovery. How have things been? Is he okay now?
