hi everyone...i realized today that i am soooo blessed. i was blessed with four older sisters much older...the youngest one to me is five years old and will be fifty this year....yikes...hehe...anyway...what i realized today, is that even though i am not close to my “blood” sisters, i am sooo close to my girlfriend sisters....i love them. i work with 15 wonderful women that i am proud to call sister. they are the most hardworking, incredibly smart, funny as hell, have your back, professional, love you unconditionally, love your family, pray for you, lift you up, help you out, remind you that you are not alone, remind you that you are loved, take care of each other, protect one another women that i have ever known.
we fight like blood sisters, but we always get over it...there isnt the drama that stays with family...we work together, we play hard, we take care of one another and then at the end of the day, we each go our separate, this isnt to say that every single person in that pharmacy is my best friend...and i would be lying if i told you that i loved every one of them equally....but the truth is...i cant live without any one of them.
i feel so close to them that when one is absent, i yearn for their closeness and companionship.
i wish everyone could enjoy the working relationship that i have attained with my worksisters.
have a blessed day....
remember, that what you say to someone, may be the last thing they hear.
take care

    • You know I have to say that I feel the same way about my “work sisters.” I’ve been at my job for many year and have developed some very special friendships with some of the women I work with. We laugh, cry, fight, share secrets, stories, etc...I feel blessed to have these women in my life. You know we spend alot of time at our jobs...more time than we spend at home so the people we work with do tend become “family.”

Glad you have such close friends you work with...and doesn’t it make going to work fun? I look forward to seeing my girls everyday and wouldn’t know what to do if one of them ever left. estatic
