WHEW! Well there has been a compromise from my hubby. He knows I  Love to make and serve Thanksgiving Dinner. Sooo...when i told him his sis called today and needs an answer to her invitation to her home, i put the ball in his court and...( this is soo incredible) He asked if i would mind if everyone came here. YAY! I have home field advantage baby! And i get to cook the meal i have been preparing in my mind for a couple of weeks now. So now...if they do not accept our invite, i am not the bad guy! Truth be told, i really would not mind having everyone here. I can be gracious and hospitable and like one of you said...I can kill ‘em with kindness and be the hostess with the mostest...LOL
Thank you all for your great advice and kind words! I so appreciate it!
Have a great day!
Ree

    • I’m sure your MIL and evil SIL will LOVE coming to your house. At least at your house, you can retreat to your bedroom for some alone time.

    • And they ......Declined!! Stressed the fact that there are no hard feelings. My hubby looked disappointed and I said....
“if you really want to go to your sis’s we can go...I mean it, i don’t mind” and he said...
“I like your cooking alot more” LOL!
Sooo I stressed over nothing! I did however extend the olive branch and told him to invite all to  Christmas Dinner. First time in 11 years I will be doing this. Alot of water has passed under the bridge since then.
