How do you fell about yellow? As a color in the garden, I mean? Somehow yellow is a bit overlooked – in my garden as well – but it is a bit strange. All these little sunny flowers bring so much joy, and my mood always lifts at the sight of them.
This beautiful yellow rose is from David Austin in England. I visited his rose garden (and plant centre) last summer, and of course I had to bring home some beauties. This is one of them. I can't remember the name, but it smells divine...

Vikki: Yes, it is a very friendly color. This rose is so lovely and completely perfect, but I had a very hard time choosing which ones to buy (had a limit of 2 - bought 3...!)

I’m not a big yellow fan, except in the garden. I have a lot of it there, including a bright yellow rose.
I’ve always wanted to get some of the David Austin roses, but they just aren’t hardy in my area. :(

Tuliplady: David Austin roses are so beautiful and they are surprisingly hardy. But maybe not hardy enough for South Dakota...

Denise, yes the color is so pretty and very soft. But the rose is one of the hardiest. Appearances can be deceiving...
