There are times when I feel like I’m always fighting...Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a contentious person and I hate to fight.  Yet there always seems to be a battle:  get the kids to school on time, make sure you‘re being billed correctly by the phone company, correcting a misunderstanding with a family member, whatever.

Perhaps “fight” is the wrong word—“drive“, maybe?
The point I’m trying to make is that I’ve always had a certain drive in me.  For example, I made sure I graduated college & got my degree in four years so that I could get a good enough job to be on my own as soon as possible.  When my son had issues in school, I did all I could to get to the bottom of it (counseling, testing, etc.).

Basically if there is a problem, I have a burning desire to get it resolved as soon as possible!  Not by taking shortcuts (because that causes whole new problems), but by solving the problem in the most efficient, thorough manner possible.   Does it always work?  No, but that just incents me to see the problem from a different angle, or maybe to look at alternative solutions.

I suppose this drive is what keeps me insisting on the truth from people, and expecting honesty in my transactions.  If I know a situation is wrong, I just can’t “accept it“.  The fight in me comes out & problem-solving kicks in!
