    • I will have more pics to post later. Enjoy your day ladies!
We will be heading to 2 Street in Philadelphia to celebrate New Years Day with all of South Philadelphia and all the Mummers. There will be literally dozens of family members and friends there. Many homes will be open to anyone...people have big pots of homeade soup and meatballs and cold drinks or warm shots to offer to anyone who wants to come in out of the cold. It is the best place and greatest party in the world! I have been going there every year since i was 14 years old and cannot imagine missing it.
I hope your day is as good as mine is going to be.
Peace, Love and Good Health to you all!

3 Irish New Year’s Blessings in Gaelic then translated:

‘Go mbeire muid beo ar an am seo arĂs.’
May we be alive at this time next year.

      ‘Athbhliain faoi mhaise duit!’
      A prosperous New Year!

       Blessing for the New Year

      May the new year bring
The warmth of home and hearth to you.
The cheer and goodwill of friends to you,
The hope of a childlike heart to you.
The joy of a thousand angels to you,
The love of the Son and God’s peace to you.
