wow, what a unique night. I must say, i was brought to tears several times this evening. First, my nephew too leave from the Marines to come home for my dinner and i didn’t know so he walked in and surprised me. I have not seen him 18 months and before that it was over a year since I’d seen him. My boss/mentor/friend, Dan attended. My sister and niece were thee a friend from the old real estate office i used to work in who now owns the best Irish import store in our area attended and she was brought to the Microphone by the emcee and said some very nice things about me then presented me with a beautiful black silk scarf with green shamrocks on it and a gorgeous pair of  carved connemara marble shamrock earrings. Then i was presented with a letter from a local state senator then, almost the best part...a long, wonderful letter came in via email to the parade commissioners phone while i was making my speech ( which went off wonderfully...i did it good...lol) and the parade commissioner took the mic and read this letter and it was from Project Childrens National Chairman. I was humbled and brought to tears...this is such a great honor receiving this recognition and bringing all this attention to Project Children.  The best part...of the whole night....All 5 of my children were there, at my table, having dinner with me...happy and healthy and i just felt this big sigh of relief that felt like id been holding it in for a LONG time. This time last year i never thought we could all be together again and happy and whole and working towards new goals and getting along and its happening! All the Glory to God! He is amazing! I will be posting lots of pics when they are uploaded. It was a wonderful experience..there were about 40 people there...it was a $60 a plate meal to eat with me...LOL I cant believe that many people came to do that. it blows me away to think that I can invoke that kind of inspiration in people. I love doing what i do... I love helping those kids..what a wonderful program God put in my life!
