They have some gr8 socks in the foot care section of walmart, and othe drug stores. They are made specifically for lotion.
I guess not walking makes me lucky sometimes as my feet are smooth and no callous’ etc. 
I Don’t wear shoes in the house , I think the stone floor in the kitchen is very hard on my feet !! Thanks for the tip.
