1.  Rinse the rice to get off the starch (couple times)
2. Drain water and put rice in Rice Cooker or Pot
3.  Here comes on how to measure the water:

I am not flipping you but that’s how I was taught.  Use your middle finger, measure the water up to your 1st knuckle.  (Long nails does not count - it is from the tip of your finger to the 1st knuckle.)

My husband and that lady seem to have a slightly longer finger so they have to knock off a few millimeters.

4. If you use a Rice Cooker, hit start (yeah, I know you know)
5. If you cook on stove top, bring to a boil, cover and then turn to low till all the water is absorbed.

When rice is cooked, stir them up before serving.
