It is so often that we take life for granted and even more frequent when we don't stop to appreciate the little things in life that really make us happy.

Bringing my baby home was truly a blessing. As I walked into my house I couldn't help but smile. Every piece of furniture, every painting was associated with some kind of memory.

My house was filled with a fantastic smell (my favorite); only when I stepped into my kitchen did I understand where the smell was coming from.

Cindylouwas on to something when she came up with an idea to create your own candle. Red currant was my scent and it arrived in time to fill my house with this wonderful aroma.

As I took a shower and got into bed, I couldn't believe how great it felt. It was the same shower and the same bed that I get into every night. This time was different because I actually stopped and appreciated how good it feels to be home.

As I was falling asleep in the arms of the man I adore, I promised myself to stop and celebrate each and every day. To appreciate the little things in life that make us happy, and to write a blog titled "There is no place like home".

Have a fantastic weekend.
