As I grow older, I realize that even the one person who wasn’t supposed to ever let me down did it anyway.

My heart has been broken probably more than once and it was harder every time.

But in consolation, I’ve broken hearts too, so I guess that evens everything out.

I’ve had arguments with a friend or two.

If you’re like me, you’ve probably blamed a new love for things an old one did.

I’ve cried because time is passing too fast, and I have lost someone I loved.

Since I know I can’t turn back the hands of time….I just keep moving ahead…

My advice to myself:Laugh ‘til it hurts and keep loving like I’ve never been hurt because every 60 seconds I spend upset is a minute of happiness I’ll never get back

I can’t be afraid that my life will someday come to an end.

BE AFRAID THAT IT WILL NEVER BEGIN

One more thing...for those of you who were expecting to see the NY Times article written about me today, it has been postponed. I've taken a back seat to a shooter's rampage.
