Ive been absent from Fab 40 for some time now because I was making a load of products for a sobriety convention and festival in Ireland.  It did not turn out well for me and Ive ended up being ripped off big style and am now struggling to pay my rent this month. Oh well, its a valuable lesson I guess and there is no point sitting around and feeling sorry for myself.

Basically these two people told me they have 37 years of sobriety between them, and maybe they do, but one thing I have now learnt is that TIME IS NOT A TOOL IN RECOVERY!  It really does not matter how long someone has been sober for if they are not taking daily recovery actions.

Anyway, its not up to me to question or comment on anyone elses programme.  I just need to concentrate on my own programme and my own recovery.  Thank God Im in a good spot spiritually or I may have ended up relapsing after this, especially as I have, in the last few weeks, lost another 2 of my beloved animals.  One of the deaths was terribly traumatic and I have had to do a lot of praying to get the images of my poor little kittens suffering out of my head.  For almost the entire week last week I couldnt shut my eyes without seeing those images.  I became so exhausted and desperate.  But through continued prayer and keeping on trying to do the next right thing I have managed to catch up on some sleep and am not feeling haunted and fearful today.

I have no resentment towards these people that stole my money.  I am praying for them every day and wish only the best for them.  If I dont make an effort to do that then I will land up in a bad place and eventually I will drink again, and I cant allow that to happen.

Ive started a new project: making postcards and magnets of my local area to try and sell here.  There are no postcards available to buy around here, so they should be quite popular I hope.  Ive made loads more than this but here are a couple for you to see.

Ive also started making some invitations and custom envelopes, which I havent done before.  You should be able to see them on my flash panel of new products at the bottom of my blog.  If anyone has an event coming up I would be more than happy to design some invitations for you. Ooh, Ive just had an idea!  I might have a go at making some Fab 40 products!!
