When it comes to marketing your business online, it could take you tons of time or it can take you a one hour a day with a lot of seconds used highly effectively and of course a pile of work done. So, which one of the two do you do? Here are the top 5 traffic generating marketing activities for your online presence:

1. Video Marketing
just like with everything, if you want to be on top of the game, you need to follow what's the latest trend and either ride on top of the wave or try to catch up. Preferably on top of the wave. So, how do you do it? Lot's of very targeted key words and cool short videos to distribute it with.

2. Article Marketing
That is something that I really love doing. Get one article, choose lots of key words ... this is how your target clients get to find your article and submit to 100 article directories with different key words in each. If you produce 1 article a day and distribute it to 100 article directories with the right key words, that really good job!

3. Blog Commenting
Here's some bad news. Just because your target market doesn't read your blog doesn't mean they don't get information from blogs. Every niche has it's industry leading sites with articles and everyone goes there to comment. Why? Visibility and targeted audience which might just click on your link.

4. Forum Posting
Your target market is most likely member of different forums or groups. So, all you need is be there too and make a presence. Post some great resources, some great advice and of course, promote what you have to offer.

5. Status Updates
Lot of people get lost in between the facebook and twitter updates of their business connections sharing how great is the food in the restaurant or how they went to the beach and made some great pics there with all the family.  In fact, very well thought after and shared updates can be sometime all you need to pull of a great promotion or even build a list.
