Journaling has become a healthy daily habit for me that has brought me discipline, clarity and abundance! I use my Money-Magnet Journal (just a spiral notebook, nothing fancy!) to record all the neat ways money has come into my life that day.

My thanks could be for a coupon that I used (that's saving money, right?), gratitude for a penny that I found, thankfulness for an unexpected refund, appreciation for the money to buy groceries so we could eat or the feeling of relief that I could pay my bills. I say "thank you" for having money to buy a birthday card or order a book on line at a substantial savings. If you think about it, we experience abundance every day and by writing it down, we actually bring about an Attitude of Gratitude.

Writing down our Gratitude and focusing on what we have instead of what we don't have, shifts our thoughts and our world by bringing more of what we want instead of what we don't want. The thoughts and feelings of lack only bring us more lack so why not try to create what we really want more of, Money!

Money doesn’t buy happiness - it brings a feeling of relief, freedom. Freedom to be generous with our time and our checkbook; freedom to serve others and the freedom to grab that vibrational escrow that’s waiting for all of us!

And tonight before I end my day, I will write in my Gratitude Journal how fortunate I was to have been able to share with the membership here at Fab40.  I hope I’ve made a positive difference for you and I know that miracles await!

Hugs,
Kelly

    • I like this idea, one because this happens to me often but I never focused on it. At the end of the month when my money is all gone and I try to remember how I spent it nothing happens.

I want abundance and yet I want to be responsible for creating it as well as just receiving it.

      much love

    • I started a gratitude journal late in 2006. I reread it when I was having hard times and it helped remind me that my life is great. So what if I have a few hurdles they are nothing compared to the gifts I have been given.

I will continue my journeling in 2009.....

    • Thanks Kelly,great idea.
It’s true...we should try hard to focus on what we already have and not what we feel we are lacking. Not to say we shouldn’t be concerned about our dwindling finances, just don’t put a lot of worry and energy behind it.

I have for the past few years tried to remember to not say things like..‘I am so broke’ or ‘I don’t have any money.’

The fact is that I am not broken and although I may not be rolling in dough at the moment I do have some  money.

    • Yes! Re-reading your gratitude journal is a great reminder of What we Have!  Thank you ox

You can also try to journal Powerful Intentions : Be Grateful for all the wonderful things you don't have (yet) but "act" is if you have them - this works miracles too! FEEL as if you already have them: The drapes you've been eyeballing, the workshop you want to attend or your phone ringing off the hook with orders - anything!
