I made my Tuesday special by spending the sfternoon at my Mom’s bedside in ICU. I also helped the nurses by toileting her on a bedpan, helping them lift her up in bed, and putting on and taking off her back brace. I also made sure to speak respectfully and thankfully to the nurses by saying thank you, smiling, and being appreciative and helping them as much as I could. I smiled to each one as they came into her room, but most of all, I was there for my Mom and made her laugh, and smile and tell me she had the 2 greatest kids in the world, which made me cry later.
