I saw Twilight yesterday.  It touched me so much - how that vampire wants to protect the girl he loved.

I seem strong but yet deep down I am so weak.  How I wish my man will reassure me, comfort me, protect me.

In the movie, she would rather let him suck her blood just to be with him.  I am thinking, would I do the same thing???? Oh, yes and yes again if my man is like him - not the look but with the love and care he portrays.

    • For all of our independence, isn’t that all we want. Someone to love us enough that they sacrifice something? They live to protect us and love us.  I don’t want to be smothered by anyone, or anything, but I would like to know that there was someone there to lean on when I feel like I need a place to go. That’s the hardest part of growing up isn’t it...having to be the one for others to lean on, but not really having anyplace to go and regroup ourselves.

I love being a mom more than anything in the world.  And I used to feel overwhelmed at the constant presence of someone in my personal space.  I miss it now that my kids are graduated and finding their own lives.

    • I read the book and LOVED it!  The movie left me a little disappointed.  I don’t think anything could beat the book.  I’ve read 3 of her 4 books and am looking forward to reading the fourth book.

I always find I am disappointed in the movies if I’ve read the book first.  The books always give more detail.

    • Oh, the Twilight series books are WONDERFUL!  If anyone really got into these, the true blood series from HBO is in book form now too.  I never saw the series, but the books are AWSOME.  They are a little more graphic, and adult geared.

Too bad you don’t read China Doll. However, True Blood’s second season should be starting soon on HBO.      :o)
