Hello ladies,
How are you all? I was just wondering if anyone else has taken the census test to help with the upcoming census recording. Me, my son Sean and daughter Kelly all took it and scored well. I will be getting a 40 hour a week job from April - at least July that pays $15 - $16 / hour. I believe it is God’s way of answering my prayers for financial help! I am really excited at the idea of being a part of recorded US history and getting paid for it. My husband and I have used old census records alot in the past in our search for our roots. Knowing that someone will read what I recorded someday and it will help them discover something about their roots really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...LOL
But seriously it is a cool thing.
Have any of you signed on to do this? Just curious.

    • I have not taken the test but the Census is testing in our area every weekend. I saw a brochure with sample questions and they are rather hard! Did not realize they pay so well!

    • Paris ,it really is not hard at all. If you really read the questions carefully they are common sense questions. I got a 24 out of 28. My kids got 25 and 26 out of 28 on the test. There are $11, $15 and $16/ hour jobs. Oddly enough the $11 jobs are the office jobs and are the longest lasting jobs and will continue through March 2011 and the highest scorers will be asked to do this job. I would rather go door to door . I am a people person...lol it wont last as long but I think it will be a great experience.
