To use coconut oil for fibromyalgia, here are some tips on how to include it in your diet:

Warm the coconut oil to liquify it.
Add to a cup of broth or soup.
Pour on hot rice.
Toss up with some pasta and herbs.
Use on salad with cider vinegar.
Add to cottage cheese or a glass of milk.

Basically, substitute coconut oil for any other oils or even use in combination. The flavor is very light. I just personally prefer not to cook with it.

The first time I tried coconut oil was in chicken broth with fresh ginger and ACV.  I suffer from fibro nausea daily (usually in the morning) and the combination I just mentioned immediately treated the nausea and gave me an energy boost as well.  I have used just the ACV and ginger in chicken broth for nausea but the addition of coconut oil worked much faster, got rid of the dizziness that accompanies my nausea, cleared my brain fog, and gave me energy.  This is how I start my day now.  After a cup of this, I can actually eat food without feeling sick.

Just make sure you use organic broth or bouillion.  I make my own broth from organic chicken.  If you add some vinegar while making the broth, it will help to draw out very beneficial collagen. The collagen comes from the bones, tendons, and cartilage so it is best to use legs, thighs, wings or backs rather than breasts.

Hope this helps.
