I’ve always enjoyed fashion.  When I was a little girl I used to secretly borrow my older sisters Cosmopolitan when everyone was asleep and spend hours at night just reading the articles and looking at the fashion so elegantly displayed by the models.

Fashion has changed so much since then, even the way clothes are made...it’s just not the same.  I’ve noticed we’ve placed the quality of our clothing and have replaced it with quantity making it easier to buy a piece of clothing, but actually not being able to keep it as its longevity can only lasts a year or two.  However, clothing from the pasts decades are still around letting us “the fasionistas of today” enjoy the precious pieces of clothing for a very very long time.

For those of you who love yesterday’s fashion, I invite you to visit our webpage www.thelittlevintageshop.com and give us your feedback.  Vintage clothing is so hot right now that even the mega stores are cutting into the market.  American Apparel just opened a Vintage Store in California where their target market is clothing made in the 40s and 50s.  Althought to us, the small shops it might be a bit intimidating, we can say that we’ve finally  made a mark and we‘re here to stay.  At least for now :)
