My daughter is getting married this May and I’ve decided it’s time to get in shape. I’m done making excuses why not to exercise and why I should quit my diet. I want to look nice for her big day.
I joined weight watchers and so far I’m 5 days without cheating, and 4 days of exercising morning and evening.
Is there anyone out there that would like to help me stay honest and I’ll help keep you honest too?
Trish
I forgot to mention that you might consider joinng the fab40 group on spark people. You will find an abundance of support and it is all free!
We also have a weight watchers group and several groups on fitness after 40. I’m in both over here and spark people too so the bases are covered.
We‘re just finishing our second week of weight watchers and both my husband and I are seeing results.
There’s also a 21 day challenge group and that is really an interesting and effective way several of the members have established new habits and accomplished goals. If you need the link, let me know and I’ll post something on the front page so you can click on it.
Trish I am mainly following a diet of healthy eating and calories between 1300-1500 per day. I track my diet and exercise on sparkpeople.com
But I also do 21 day challenges. Click on my link below to sign up for one. I do think the more you write about your goal the more focused and successful you will be.
So good luck! And know that we are all rooting for you!
Thanks Ladies for the information. I’ll look at joining sparkpeople.
I get weighed in this morning at WW. One week down!
