And I am totally freaked out. My mole was cancerous. Wow... I know it is no big deal today to have skin cancer spots but to hear it for the first time and know you had a cancer removed from your body is kinda scary. Doc said it was not malignant and the edges were clean so she doesn’t think we will have any future problems with that site but....she said the edges had some atypical cells that were just beginning to change and it is a good thing we removed it when we did. Sooo...once again , thanks for the prayers and good thoughts! I have an angel on my shoulder for sure!
So happy to hear your news! That old saying, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life” means alot now, I’m sure. God bless and comfort your heart, Marie.
Happy to hear that it went well. I’m sure that was very scary for you to go through. Keep your your spirits high and stay positive.
All is well.
First of all, Ree, I’m so glad it was benign. I glad you didn’t let it go and ignore it; that was a blessing!
So from here on you’ll need to be dilligent about your screenings and watching for any changes in your skin and even in overall health. This gives you a place to start.
Blessings to you, Ree! I’m happy you‘re ok.
So glad that you caught it in time. I will continue lifting you in prayer.

Great news that it wasnt Melanoma. I know exactly how you felt when you heard “it’s cancer“. My world completely unraveled. I organized my closet and made sure my life insurance policy was paid up. I basically had my coffin nailed shut. But....here I am today. Totally cancer free (my was maligant melanoma)7 years later!! VERY important to know your moles and go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY for any changes whatsoever. Good job Ree!! We are going to be around here for a very long time!! ![]()
