Hello Fabulous Women!

I immersed myself in this community in February, made friends, and then vanished.  I got far too busy here preparing for our March trip to Haiti to focus on anything else.  Because our entire family went we were able to take 500 lbs. of donations to the kids in Haiti, which required a lot of thinking, soliciting, shopping and creative packing.  It was a month of chasing my own tail really, but in the end we had our passports up to date, all of our travel arrangements pinned down, and eight suitcases full ready for the airport.  It took two trips to get the five of us and all of our bags to San Francisco International.  Once in Miami we added additional bags of jatropha seeds and seedlings for planting in Haiti.

I have missed this community and hope you are all well.  I am thrilled to say that things are going wonderfully with Sirona.  We planted a jatropha/moringa nursery which will ultimately support a community that cares for 3,000 orphans.  Jatropha seeds make biodiesel (which is the business of Sirona Fuels), and [Link Removed] seeds are incredibly nutritious for the orphans (a project of the Sirona Cares Foundation).  It was incredible to have our children with us on this trip to see who we are working with, and who we are helping.
