Love it

When I was a teenager, boy, did I have an inferiority complex!  I felt that I was worthless & undeserving!  As I got older, my self-esteem grew.  I learned what my capabilities & talents were.  I learned that I had something to give the world.

There are times, though, when I feel down on myself and I have to talk myself out of it.  During one of those recent down-times, I decided to verbalize it.  Below are some of those thoughts.

I am worth more than:

 -   being invalidated

 -   someone else’s reality

 -   someone else’s problems

 -   guilt

 -   others’ accomplishments or lack thereof

 -   anger

 -   debt

 -   somone else’s expectations

 -   ignorance

 -   others’ opinions of me & of my actions

This doesn’t mean none of these things have any importance or that I can’t care about any of them.  But I am worth more!!

I deserve to:

 -   feel my own feelings

 -   think my own thoughts

 -   be responsible for my own actions

 -   reach my full potential

 -   live my own life

 -   take care of my own stuff

 -   feel safe

What are you worth?  What do you deserve?  C‘mon...I know there’s something!

Love it

    • I worth more than worth any tangable thing in the earth, because I’m an heir to the throne so my daddy owns it all and he sees to me having all that I need.

    • I feel that I am worth exactly what I put out there. If I put out good things, which can be kind words or clothes/items for someone who is in need, or just setting a good example I feel like I will get back kindness, etc. And, it might not be right away. I think life challenges you sometimes and that is where good positive character comes into play. On the same token, if I live a negative life, set bad examples and become “all about me” then I feel that nothing but negativity and possibly pain, heartache and emptiness are coming my way.

    • Worth to me means inner peace and self-confidence to take on anything that comes my way, but to know what I can handle and not exhaust myself mentally and physically.happy
