Hello Ladies,....This weekend I was talking to a friend, when I realized all we were doing was complaining about how crappy things were in our lives... After she left I decided to do a little reflecting...and forcing myself to really be Open Minded about it...and Honest... With Thanksgiving just around the corner I decided to make a list... I will share the ones I am most thankful for... I am inviting you as well to list at least 5 to 10 things you are most thankful for...First and for most I am thankful for:
(1) The Blessings I have received from God...And knowing all the following have been made possible because of His love for me.

 (2) My relationship with Jerry, and how good he treats me and my children.
(3) The Health of My family and Jerry's...in spite of my recent health issues..We could all be a lot worse off.
(4) The Good job Jerry has, that allows us to live a modest life style.
(5) The Home we share that was paid off this past summer.
(6) The New friends I have made on Fab 40 and on the Affiliated Women's site.
I have other things I am very thankful for..But I won't bore ya with all of them.. =) but by acknowledging them, It has made me very humble... When I think about all the people who right now are waking this very morning, having to face and suffer the anguish of losing everything that they have worked so hard for..Homes, Marriages, Children, Jobs, Self Respect, Comfort, Security, Control, Stability, Vehicles, ... Things that I know myself I have taken for granted to many times... I can only imagine how I have broken God's heart with my unabashed and shameless attitude...Thinking I did all of this... and I... and I... and I...Forgetting His graciousness, and His absolution... I am not one to do the whole New Year's resolution thing..I always screw it up (LOL)..But I have decided to start being a lot more grateful, to be kinder, more supportive, concerned, and loving. Having this "Epiphany "has made me very aware of my faults...but it has also made me more aware of my abilities to overcome them...So look inside your hearts and tell us what are You are Thankful for this Holiday...

    • Hey Girl, I have not been on in a few days. Love your post...

I am thankful that my God is the God of second chances!!!! and 3rd and 4th and 5th and so on, He is an awesome God.

The love that my husband and I have. Through good and bads times we are together and stronger than ever...

My children. Their love and laughter and I am truly the lucky one for having them. I adore them.

My dear friends... To share, to laugh with and learn from. The support system is one of a kind.

My extended family. I still have Mom and Dad and my Grandmother is 92 this year. Mom and Dad are so healthy and vibrant. They have a bigger social life than I do.

The list could go on and on... I am thankful that we live in a nation that is the greatest on the Earth. We have freedom that was paid with much blood shed . We can lay our heads down at night feeling safe.

GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS THAT HAVE GIVEN US THIS FREEDOM. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THEM AND THE JOB THEY DO EVERYDAY FOR ME. PLEASE PROTECT THEM LORD. GOD BLESS THEIR FAMILIES THAT WILL HAVE THAT EMPTY CHAIR THIS YEAR. WE LOVE YOU ALL !!!
