What did I discover at VBS? Well for starters it’s exhilarating, exhausting, exercise and intense.
The revelation that I received just now is that it is a form of mission, a ministry and full of motion. I do mission to the island of Haiti and I have often struggled with the concept of understanding the type of mission at home that would give me the same joyful experience. As reluctant as I was to participate in VBS I am now so grateful that I did.
I took two of my Godchildren to attend with me and I am assured that our relationship just got a little stronger in ties that bind.
Good for you, I for one loved attending and being a part of VBS, I used to teach the teens from ages 14-18 it was so much fun their hearts were broken when I left the church to minister at my current church.
Good for you Donna! I used to love VBS when I was younger and when I lived in MI I used to help with cookie time during my kids VBS....
Maybe it’s time to look into the 2nd layer of needs here.....
