Last week in Ohio, a kindergarten was suspended for wearing a Mohawk hair style to school.

Although there is no rule stating that this is not allowed at school, the principal insisted that this style violated policies of being properly groomed.

I personally think that this is absolutely ridiculous!  The principal is nosy and should mind her own business. She is reacting as if the boy wore a t-shirt with breasts on it.

Come on! This is the most bizzare case of censorship i have yet to see.

What does everyone think?

Do you think that the principal took it too far?

    • I’m thinking that I want my son to have a mohawk. There’s nothing wrong with that! It looks good.

    • I can see the principal’s point.  It has something to do with grooming. That’s just like allowing kids to wear the rebel flag on their T-shirts.  It’s offensive to some people.  When our children are old enough to make their own decisions, they can and WILL do what they want but while they‘re still at an impressionable age, we owe it to them as parents to give them the best.  Now, if you‘re saying a mohawk hair cut is the best for him, so be it.
