What does silence sound like?

You remember the riddle, If a tree falls in the forest and no one’s around to hear it does it still make a sound?

  Well I would say the answer is yes, because if my friends are there they won’t hear it but they’ll feel the vibration. You see my friends are deaf.

  I have house guests and I am so honored that they feel safe and comfortable spending these few days with me. I was tip toeing in my house as not to wake or disturb them. Later we had a good laugh because I realized that they couldn’t hear me closing doors or the car’s loud muffler when I left for church. The television is on and the radio is on and so naturally we have the captions on for my guest. My friends really can be considered coon ass ‘cause they have to talk with their hands and I wanna be just like them. Isn’t language awesome.

  They are amazing and I have a new appreciation for silence.
