Ok, so I’ve been back to my old habits lately ~ reading.  I’ve been reading books, books, and more books.  First I started reading the Twilight series books.  LOVED them!  They‘re 4 books, and although I’m not the fastest reader, it didn’t take me THAT long to read them.  Since I work a 9-5 and have a 12 year old, I only get to read in the evenings.  So, I thought I did pretty good with the timing, and also, I wanted to take my time and read them because they were so well written (to me) that I was not wanting to miss a visual.  The only thing that disappointed me was that “MY” Edward Did Not look anything like the Edward in the Movie.  But, hey, when I read a book, my characters can look like what I want them to, as long as they resemble the description given, right?

So, I got finished with those and ordered a set of, I think it was 7, it is the “True Blood” series that was on HBO for a season this past year.  OMG!  I LOVE them too.  Not to mention the fact that I have been so infatuated with Vampires since I was a young girl.  It was like, all my little friends dreamed of Prince Charming ~ I dreamed of Count Dracula!  LOL  So, now, I’m on my last of the 7, and I don’t know where to go from here.  I have had a few suggestions from friends, one was the “One for the Money” books by Janet Evanovich.  I read one of them a few years back, and it was really good, not to mention entertaining.  No Vampires, but the girl is a bounty hunter.

So, if anyone has any more really good vampire reads they want to suggest, please do so.

Until then, you’ll probably be seeing more of me here and there.

I’ve missed ALL my fabulous friends though!

    • Miss you too.

Unfortunately I am not a big reader so I can’t help.  I did see the move “Twilight” which is about vampire and I love it.

    • The movie was good, but the books are awsome!  If you started reading them you wouldn’t be able to put them down.  I even have gotten my husband reading them..... which I find kinda cute since they‘re more geared towards “teen” readers.  But even he says he likes em.

    • Hello there mybabygators.  I’ve heard of Nora Roberts, some of my friends read her books, and Danielle Steele.  I’m not really into romance novels.  And I swear my ADHD has gotten worse with age, but I have to be able to get into the book within the chapter or so, or I just put it down and find something else.  I do like suspense though.  I’ve found that on ebay I can read a few pages of the book before I buy it, so that’s great.  Oh, and I REALLY want one of those new Kindle(s).  It has a hefty little price on it though.  And doing some research on it, I found another one made by Sony, I think, and it’s not as expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll have to look at them.  And, yes, please let me know who the other one is.
