Years ago, my ex-fiance had given me a beautiful diamond ring.  That same night I misplaced it in the bathroom and couldn’t find it anywhere!!!! I prayed like a mad woman that night that I’d find it. The next morning it was on the sink next to the faucet.  When I saw my dad I had asked him where he found the ring, and he did NOT know what I was talking about!  So, I asked my brother, and he did not know what I was talking about either!!  They were the only two people in the house beside myself.

It was pretty amazing and mysterious, ‘til this day I have no clue how it got there.  Perhaps it was an angel? Ghost?
What is your opinion, and what interesting thing has happened to you?

    • wow, interesting! I think it was angel.

The only thing I can think of at the moment that happened was when I was in my 20’s and in my own apartment. I walked into my place after work and my floor lamp was blinking on and off. It freaked me out. I loudly said “knock that off” and it went out. Then the next morning I was in my dressing area drying my hair and I suddenly felt a cold wind swirl around the space I was in. That totally freaked me out. I’ve never forgotten that.

    • Actually, now that I remember, I was at a cemetery studying for school in 110 degree weather—I suddently got cold!  I began shivering, and I went and sat in another area, and it was HOT.

    • I still think angel.  I had an experience once where two angels on bicycles helped me find my lost dogs.

    • Great stories!

I have had a couple things happen but will just tell this one.

I was 15 yrs old and it was just me and my mom who lived at home. She wanted to go see a pyshic and took me with her. While I was getting my reading done the woman told me she was having a hard time reading me since my mind jumps so much. But she did say that I didn’t need to be afraid at night while in my room that my Mimi was watching over me (I always slept with a light on becuz I felt like someone was there). She used the word “Mimi” and no one knew I slept with the light on or was afraid.
When we got home that night I went upstairs to my room and laying on the bed were letters my Mimi had written me when I was younger.
These letters had been in a box in a trunk in tha attic.... of course I was a little freaked but never slept with the light on again.

    • We have a ghost in our flat she lived here for over 70 years and no I'm never afraid nor is Alice – I smell her as she wore Miss Dior..... She is very firm about shoes or accessories. I have often had bags, earrings, bracelets go missing when I have laid them out and gone for a shower. I used to rip the place apart before but now I just leave it knowing they will turn up later. They always are there where I left them when I come back home after a meeting/ night out.
My elderly dog used to make a funny noise on the sofa when sleeping as if she was being cuddled or stroked she was in the room on her own and she used to sometimes look like she was watching someone..... Biggie used to sometimes barks into "thin air" but we know she has come in the room and he now is used it two years on.
I have seen pictures of her and she was very beautiful and very glamorous, she lived on a trust fund and never married as his true love died in the trenches of the 1st World War. Shame I never met her I'm sure we would have got on.

    • Definitely a spirit/angel, Maverick..we have the spirit of the original owner living in our house...his name is “Bob Carrick” and he lets himself be known when he is displeased or happy about something.  My sister-in-law was over one day and she thought she saw a shadow at the bottom of the basement steps and then felt a cold draft flying by her, so we now have a witness to this.

    • Mayra—That’s cool!!
This means my dad is probably watching over me.  I hope.  I never gotten over his death and probably never will, but at least I know he is somewhere.

When I was vacationing in Virginia City, Nevada and staying at the oldest hotel in Goldhill, boy is that place haunted!!!!!!!!!!!!  I actually heard voices and music at 3am in the morning when the bar closed at 11pm!!!  The hotel clerk said I wasn’t even above the bar as it was way over the otherside. Pretty creepy, but cool.  This hotel was in one of the episodes of Ghostbusters—I think that’s what it’s called.

    • That’s so cool, I love ghost stories. I have never had experienced a ghost so to speak, other than the fact, that there are times I have felt there is a prescence around me. Not all the time, not even now, but at certain times in my life. It used to sorta freak me out, but not anymore, I do believe that we all have certain angels, ghosts, spirits, etc. to take care of us when needed

    • WOW!  That is so amazing to hear that your diamond ring showed up the next morning next to the sink!  Sounds like you have a guardian angel protecting you!

About 15 years ago, I had something amazing happen to me.  It was in the winter, very cold outside and snowing like crazy.  The roads were very slick with snow and ice.

I was approaching a steep hill on my way driving home. In my mind, I knew that I should NOT take the risk to attempt to drive down the hill.  My common sense told me, “Take the long way home!”  Yet, I was stubborn and did not want to drive the long way home when I could take the short cut!

Before driving down the steep snow covered road, my heart my beating fast and I prayed silently, “Dear God, help me safely get down this hill and home.”

Slowly, I drove down the slippery hill without any complications. I was so relieved to reach the bottom of the hill and glad to return home safely!

Once I returned home, I shared with my husband that I was able to safely drive down a huge hill during this snowstorm.
My husband looked at me as if I completely lost my mind and yelled, “YOU COULD HAVE KILLED YOURSELF!”

The next morning, I decided to run a few errands.  I got in my car, turned on the ignition, was attempting to shift the gear into reverse to back up my car in my driveway, when suddenly, THERE WERE NO BREAKS!

Feeling scared, I immediately floored the breaks as hard as they could go, but the BREAKS WERE NOT WORKING!  OMG!

Due to the newly fallen snow in my driveway that was never shoveled, my car was able to come to a complete stop.  I carefully tried to drive my car back into the garage.

Once my car was in the garage, I quickly got out, shut the garage door, ran up the steps to my kitchen and told my husband, “You will not believe this, but there are NO breaks working in our car!”

My husband and I looked into each other’s eyes without saying another word......

Silently, we both pondered the thought of how dangerous it was for me to risk driving down an icy hill during a snowstorm.

As I thought about the fact that the steep road was icy, dangerous to drive down and not exactly safe, a thought occurred to me......

Startled at the crazy thought that ran through my mind, I blurted out, “Oh, my goodness!  I was NOT alone on that hill driving down the hill!  God protected me with His Guardian Angels!”

My husband lovingly agreed, “It had to be angels watching over you.  There is NO other way that you would have safely drove down that icy hill last night.”

A few years later, while my husband and I were looking to buy our first house, our realtor was taking us to look at a home.  As soon as she drove up the hill that I had years ago miraculously drove down during a storm storm, I was surprised to be looking at a house on that exact steep hill.

As we drove up the hill and she parked her car into the driveway, I told her about the guardian angel that protected me years ago, while I was driving down this very road on a wintery night.

She may have thought I was completely nuts for risking my life by driving down this hill or she may have not believed my story about my guardian angel protecting me, but the most interesting thing was that she sold the home to my husband and I.  For the past 15 years, I have been living on the very steep hill in which I was protected by my guardian angel!

    • Having read your experiences reminded me of when my husband and I were in Corfu with our daughter who was just two. We drove to a beach several miles from any village. When we got there we found an expanse of deserted beach. As we were leaving of course got the car stuck in sand, and try as we might could not get it out, forwards, backwards, with pebbles under the wheel etc. It was getting dark and quite cold and needless to say our little daughter was tired and hungry. This was long before mobile phones, and it was going to be a very long walk to get anywhere.

Having seen no-body else on the beach in the two or three hours we had been there we were beginning to feel rather concerned. Suddenly two strapping young men strolled up and helped us shift the car on to firmer ground. As I turned to thank them they had disappeared. No footstps even showed where they had gone. Angels? well they were to me.
