I am new to social networking. I joined facebook and you can look up old friends. I was sort of a outcast/oddball in high school. I found a few people I sort of knew but I don’t know if I want to connect again. How will these people remember me?
I didn’t really know alot of them for very long I started a new school in 8th grade and dropped out halfway through 10th. My best friend and I stayed in touch until she passed away (too young) but as for the others I just don’t know.I am not the angry girl I once was.Rebelling at every turn. I did not have a good home life and was confused as to who to be. I am proud of who I am now. I may not be famous or rich. I am a blue collar girl, I have a family I love and life’s okay. But how will they see me? Will they think oh she’s just what she deserves to be or will they look beyond who I was and see how far I have come? Thoughts Ladies PLEASE!

    • All you can do is put yourself out there, you would be surprised at how much everyone changes after high school. Good luck and be proud of where you are now, you said it yourself you aren’t the same person you were back then.

    • Lazylola is right..... everyone changes. Put yourself out there...what is the worst thing that can happen? Present yourself as who you are NOW and be proud of that. If they can’t see it then it’s their problem.

Good Luck and let us know...

    • Put yourself out there!  Find friends, and who cares about what they think...you are who you are and be PROUD of it...you never know what they have gone through either...

    • Thank you everyone. I know I should probably try to meet new people. It ’s just hard being where I am and some of my home situation. It was easier when my kids were younger. I would be friends with the parents of there friends,ya know. But we moved back to Ohio and lost touch and the kids are grown and now I am raising one of the next generation but there just aren’t that many 46 year old mom’s of 5 year old s so I really don’t have much in common with the kindergarten PTA set.On top of that I have other issues,I have to deal with I’ll get to them later! Again THANK YOU!
The Profile pic is because I am a CAT LOVER and Aretha’s hat is just to cool for words!
