Where do you want to be in 5 years? Remember that question? It's an important question to ask. Time slips away so quickly, it is easy to lose track of our goals and dreams. They can be elusive and abstract.  The consequence?  We can let them slip away.

The Answer

Make a list of goals.  Very simple.  There are so many ways to go about that.  Here are just a few.

1.100 Things.  Write down 100 things you would like to do over the course of your life.  Just keep writing till you get to 100.

2.Pro's and Con's.  Write down the pro's and con's of your life.  What are the good and bad aspects?  You will figure out very quickly what you want to be different.

3.Magic Pill. If you took a magic pill tonight, woke in the morning and your life was perfect, what would it look like?

4. Write your obituary.  Creepy, right?  Not really.  If you can't get in touch with your goals, fantasize about your eulogy or obituary.  What were your accomplishments, personal and professional?  And only a little creepy.

Consider taking charge this week and making a list of life goals.  Why not?  It will only take a few minutes and imagine what doors it could open for you.
