This blog gets it’s life from, “Today I Met Someone!” by FoxyDiva.
My poster is hanging in my dining room. I designed it like a collage, by cutting out phrases and words from magazines lying around my house. My intentions are to create a daily reminder of who I am and hope to be and in the process I will be ME!!
phrases like
I will...
I am...
I can...
What I want...
For Me...
Some enchanted evening...
Words like,,,,,character, trust, work, promise,smart,
sensuous, intimate, Queen, sexy, special,
unforgettable, natural, irresistible,
and finally No Stress, No Baggage

I will create mine from powerpoint.
It will hang in my office and also in my bedroom near my side of the bed with my other motivational stuff.
That sounds like a plan of action. I used posterboard, scissors and glue. It was also therapeutic and I can add to it as the days come and go.
Does using powerpoint mean you will print it on 8×10 paper?

I have a secret spot - it is behind the bathroom door. Whenever I sit down and do you know what, I can see that right from that angle!
I will have more than one poster. Need one in every room that clearly states:
BREATHE
Did you not see my comment earlier? How come?
“I have a secret spot – it is behind the bathroom door. Whenever I sit down and do you know what, I can see that right from that angle”
Lori - I change clothes too when I get home from work. I wash the make up off and put my hair in a pony tail. It feels so good!
I’ve added one more phrase to my poster - I’m free! What this means to me is after having my hysterectomy - I’m free.
So my phrases will be
I’m free
Live in the moment
Do me
Slow down
I’ve been playing with powerpoint but I’m still searching for the right template as my background.
I actually don’t have to make a poster. When I moved into my first apartment, I framed a poster my mother gave to me for my 18th birthday. It’s hanging in my guest room now. It says:
I believe I am
a unique and precious human being.
my own best friend and my own worst enemy.
a loveable and loving person.
capable of realizing my potential.
self-respecting.
responsible for my own behavior.
learning from my mistakes.
creating a joyful life.
an important part of the universe.

I used to have one in every room to help me when I would have a panic attack. I used to have LOTS of panic attacks...
Your thread made me realize that I’m much better and my ‘poster’ can be something much better to state my affirmations.
Thank you for the reminder!
I post at work, bathroom, car, I have a little note book, where that I carry, with quotes, motivational, etc... I like to be able to jot stuff down at any given moment..
