    • It’s just a woman thing. I think we all suffer from this one. I sure hope you feel better soon. I’m sure this full moon coming don’t help the situation any.

    • I think they said it best on “Northern Exposure”  “You‘re either getting, having or getting over your period...leaving only 1 good week a month!”

I didn’t have one since October and now I got one that started March 21st and has not completely quit yet.  I think I shed 6 months worth of lining!  This happened just before my hiatus and I had a bunch of tests...ultrasound, blood work and nothing showed up...except the bills!

I have heard tho that taking evening primrose oil helps to lessen the effects of but you need to take it before the onset.

    • I tried to take birth control pills three months ago so I don’t ave to deal with my own bitchiness lol...but it made it worse...yah, everyone in the household knows when I am getting my period, if my husband has a gut to pack his suitcase and stay in the motel for a week, he will do in a beat, but he is afraid i will haunt him down hahahaha...anyway this seems funny to be in this position every month, sometimes I just ignore it but...it’s kind of hard to ignore the obvious!....girls, thanks for your input...

    • Yes, I sometimes turn into a fire breathing murderous bitch, then other times I’m barely aware I have it except for the obvious...

    • I don't contain my "inner bitch" just to that time of the month I like to spread the evil all month – it keeps people on their toes ......... it also makes me feel a whole lot calmer the only way you would actually know is the chocolate consumption gets up 10 fold !

Okay, not really, I was just kidding.

I was blessed with light 3-day periods, no cramps and a lovely story from my mother who always said that “periods” were GOD’s way of cleaning us out.  I liked that and of course, passed that silly story on to my girls and it’s likely they’ll tell that to their girls one day too.  GAWD, all the crap we say!  haha

    • I get too sick to be bitchy. The day before my period starts, everything I eat is thrown back up, I have terrible stomach cramps and terrible back pain, hot flashes, and cold chills. This has been going on with me every since I started a period(at the age of 8).My husband calls it my crazy period days.

    • Each month, something else is bothering me.  Usually very sore breasts that ache just by looking at them.  Since this peri stuff....my periods are shortened to 4 days of bleeding and every 21-28 days like clockwork.  I bleed so heavy some months, extra super tampon and two pads arent enough protection for me.  Prior to peri.....used to last for 7 long days but not as heavy.

The mood swings have always been there.
