    • No you are not destined to be heavy, but hormones do play a role. Have you had your thyroid check? That might be the first thing to do.

Read my last weeks blog, try my popcorn diet, it’s easy and satisfying.

    • Yes I have and it is good. I have been trying for a few years to get the weigth off,but with no luck, but I am no longer bouncing on the scale anymore so I guess that is one positive, and my muscles are getting stronger.

    • Thanks for the advice, I just try to eat when I am hungry and have maybe 1 or 2 snacks per day about 1200 calories per day.

    • Hi,
I am a weight loss coach, and woud love to help you. I was ‘stuck’ for many years, even though I eat healthy. Some of us (me included) have a ‘thrifty gene’ that slows the metabolism to match the intake. ( If you would like to know how to get past that plateau and would like to join a program that is guaranteed to satisfy, send me a pm.

    • Somehow I missed your question ljblondie. I am an accredited Perfect Body Shape Coach. We have a 6 month program that comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I don't know of any other program that offers that. My coaching is free. We also have weekly support calls. I will teach you how to eat low glycemic so you don't have to count calories unless you just want to. A double blind placebo study was done. Both groups had the same caloric intake and amount of exercise. The placebo group and the test group lost the same amount of weight. The test group lost fat, whereas the placebo group lost 50% fat, and 50% muscle. Fat loss is what we specialize in, not just weight loss. And we approach it wholistically. This is not just about changing what you eat, it is also about changing what you think. You will love the new you; I know I love the new me!
