Will this winter ever end? In spite of how mild it has been for the most part (if you don’t count the 35 days of really freakin’ cold weather in December and January...), it seems to really be dragging on and on.

Could it be that my skin is thinning with age? (Unlike my waistline....sigh) I seem to feel the cold more than I did in my younger years (like, last year)- perhaps it’s because I move more slowly than I did, so the cold has a chance to seep further into my bones (past all that fat....)

And why don’t the hot flashes appear when I really need them, instead of when I’m already warm enough, thankyouverymuch! Is this nature’s way of punishing me for some unrecognized sin? Sheesh.

And now the forecast says we are slipping into colder weather again for the forseeable future. And will be the delighted recipients of more snow. Yippee....

If this keeps up, I might have to move to Florida, or Arizona, or somewhere else with really big friggin’ bugs and snakes and.... oh, never mind. I’ll stick with the cold. It’s bound to warm up eventually, isn’t it?

    • Hot flashes on demand! Yes, I vote for that!

It does seem like the longest winter in history. We’ve had some especially warm days to tease us lately, and though I love them, it seems to give the false impression that spring has arrived! NOT!
