As we swing from January into the 2nd month of our year of S.U.C.C.E.S.S., there’s much yet to do. Final touches on next month’s plans; winding up month-end ‘stuff’ that is a ‘drag’ on the wind in our sails - all the mundane things that go with closing out the old & moving into the new.

If you‘re like me, you hate the little ‘bits & pieces’ that go with winding up one & swinging into the next!

We‘re headed into February - the great month in which we celebrate ‘love’ - we‘re swinging into the U of our acronymn for SUCCESS! Remember, SUCCESS is our motto for this year! Each of us have (hopefully) defined what the word means for us personally & professionally - now we‘re preparing to make it happen!

The title for this post occurred to me as I sat to write. On the road to SUCCESS, there are NO “U” turns. Okay, Fitzgerald - what do you mean by that?

There’s no turning back - no turning around and heading for shelter. We’ve made the decision to SUCCEED & the only way is forward!

It doesn’t mean that we don’t take moments to reflect by looking “over” where we’ve been, what we’ve done and how we got here. . . It does mean that we don’t stay there! “Assessment” which is really what “reflection” is all about, is not a “U” turn. It’s part n’ parcel of our roadmap to SUCCESS.

Now that we have that out of the way - let’s look forward!

What is left undone that can be rolled into the 2nd month of the year & brought to fruition? What’s on our agenda for the month of ‘love’ that needs to be shoved to the berm of the road? And what needs to be moved to the “front of our agenda” that will give us the ‘bounce’ we need?

All of the above must be moved into our “USING” bag! You know - “Start” “Using“! Start Using Consistent Commitment (or Confidence), & Enthusiasm . . .

Operative word. . . USE! Use what we have, borrow what we need (with permission of course), follow through with the talent, skill & ability we bring to the highway and then - GO FOR IT!

And remember. . . on the road to SUCCESS, there are NO U-TURNS!

Let us know how we can help!

Much love in an awesome day,

Linda, a fellow journeyer
