Words as a form of art know expression that cannot be defined other than when they are used together. Such the same as in saying that a single musical note cannot define a symphony.

Inspiration for one’s writing can come from many things... for example:

To experience something so moving that it could move me to tears seems to be something which cannot be defined. However, There is nothing that cannot be defined; the issue is in finding the RIGHT words, and in the right combination that can unlock the beauty I experienced so that, hopefully, others can experience and visualize in their minds that same beauty as I did.

To know unrequited love can be truly unbearable, but as with all pain, its keen edge is eventually dulled by the passage of time. On occasion, however, the pain surfaces as sharply as if it were new when something reminds me of love held for another, only to realize it was never real on their part to begin with.

When that happens, again, to find the right words, in right combination, can unlock and release much of that pain. But, only till such time as that emotion, and therefore also that pain, returns, sharper than ever.

However, what words might move me, might not move another. It is, after all, just personal perspective, isn’t it? A matter of personal taste? No different, say, than going into a restaurant, and ordering completely different entrees from a menu, and one person finds what the other is having personally repugnant.

I’ve lived my life, both sheltered and exposed. I am both naive and worldly, innocent and jaded. All I have experienced, good and bad, has made me who I am. We all have our baggage. Mine may not be Gucci, but it holds all that I am.

Blessings
