You know how when you like your job then hate it at the same time?  Well, that is me right now.  I like my job but then hate it at the same time.  The hours are killer and the pay is not great especially for all that I do.  People don’t seem to realize that when you work for a corporation all the rules and regulations that are involved.  You always have to watch the weight on all product that you make, that is why one day I hope to do things out of my own home so I can give it that personal touch.  Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy playing with my food and getting paid for it(lol) but really!  Well such is life in the big bad baking world.

Talk to you all later,

    • I can relate.

Haven’t worked outside the home for 7yrs, but I remember!

I always tried to remind myself to be positive, look at it as me doing a service for society and search for something while still employed.

Possibly take a class in something I did enjoy as a possible future employment or just for fun to add that fun factor into my unsatisfied life.

The whole mind thing was very hard for me and eventually got the best of me.  I ended up not being too smart by just leaving.  DON‘T follow in my footsteps!

Good luck & hang in there!

    • I agree with th ladies above. Also, if you are interested in starting your own business, start taking community classes on how to start your won business.

I am at a point where I want change as well. It is just a mater of finding a job that uses your skill sets. Best wishes!

    • I would use this time to get as much skill and info as possible. Make a plan on the steps to creating your own business. And once all your ducks are in a row then go for it!

    • I have taken classes, well in decorating and have done a few jobs on the side for people I know.  It just gets frustrating is all.  Thank you for the support.  I do like my job and to think all the time I spent in the kitchen baking was just getting me ready to do something like this, it’s a shame it took me 20 plus years to figure it out.

It is sometimes a mind game as well, the boss tells you your not doing well and yet the customers tell you everything looks and taste great.  So, which one do you believe?  I realized though that all I want to do is bake, so any suggestions on what I should do?  Do I look for a different place or stay here(benefits are great) see me issue?  I am trying to get my name out there, but it is hard.

Gotta go to work now, wish me luck, just kidding but hey it’s 1:30 in the morning, brain is still fuzzy with this time change.
