Since the first week of January I’ve been going to the gym. I’ve been on this journey to weight-loss for a while but never incorporated the workouts. Well since my hubby let me change my membership from Fitness19 to planet Fitness I practically go every day. I never thought I’d like something that hurts so bad so good lol. I’m encouraged and determined to win this thing. I’ve also joined a few groups on Facebook for the Fit-Bit tracker and it is truly rewarding to see the diligence in all the members. We all are trying to reach our daily goals in steps, miles, and stair climbs, and I tell you it’s more than a notion, but it’s so much fun in doing it, it keeps me motivated.  

I’ve also learned to eat differently and making healthier choices, and getting that water in (I’m not a big water fan) but I’m getting it in. I’ve put down the pop, in fact I’ve been making and drinking those detox waters using fresh fruits and herbs, they are delicious and healthier for me. My goal is to lose at least 150 lbs. by my birthday next year, and I’m going to get there. So far I’ve lost 7 lbs, but I haven’t weighed in a while so who knows where I am now!  

I’m not going to weigh in again until the end of this month. Well I’m off to prepare for my gym workout  have a great week!
