Working Without a Break Can Cost More Than a Vacation

Sometimes we risk spending more tomorrow by trying to save today. There have been plenty of articles recently about the things happening around us that can lead to stress and eventually potentially costly medical events. In an economy that seems to be testing you every way possible it's hard not to keep your head down or your nose to the grindstone or whatever approach to challenges you might have learned to deal with it. That however may not be the best idea. In times of stress it is often a good idea to do something to step back and get away from the consistent grind of the daily coping. Whether you are a parent working like mad or a student dealing with all of those pressures there needs to be a release.

There is no better time than now to get the family together, pool resources, emotional and financial and plan a few days away together. It's more cost effective than ever to take that perfect family vacation and there are plenty of great family vacation locations that are just a drive away from the daily grind. Think about the pains in the neck or the tight back or the inability to focus and what they are costing in lost productivity, lost energy and perhaps current or future doctor bills. A perfect family vacation won't solve everything but it might just be the pressure relief everybody needs to allow for a change of view.
