If there isn’t anything better to inspire you to write a novel during a month than over 100k folks internationally attempting to do the exact same thing through a concerted effort through National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo).  The challenge is for everyone participating write 50k words in their novel, and in some cases, folks are writing 100k or more—all during the month of November.

This is the first year that I am participating.  So far, I am finding that it is easy to write 1,667 words per day; words seem to just flow.  However, I got food poisoning Monday-Wednesday this week so I am a bit behind; although, I don’t anticipate it being for much longer.

If you would like to know more - check out nanowrimo.org for more details; if you are a participant in this year’s movement, add me on as your buddy - “txbluebonnet2006” or join us on twitter under #nanowrimo.  We‘re all having a ball with this!!

I’m writing my novel on FastPencil.com, which has proven to be a great venue to keep my novel writing more mobile.

Besides being interviewed on Lauri’s Blog Talk Radio and working on this novel writing challenge, I may not surface much on Fab40, but I am still around.
