Hi new friends!

Yes, I really do have sixteen kids.  I had five kids in my first marriage.  After 27 years and a divorce, I remarried a widower who had eleven kids.  I woke up the next morning a mom of sixteen.

No, I am not superwoman.  Far from it!  I drop the ball on so many things, have a terrible memory, and plain ole just am nothing special.  I am just an ordinary person with weaknesses and strengths.  I have chosen to invest ALL of my time into my family.  I used to share time among family, friends, church, school, and community.  A litte time to myself as well, watching tv, movies and hangin out with my teen daughters.  I don’t do much of any of those anymore.  I clean, do laundry, cook, do laundry, shop for groceries, run kids to classes or pick up from sports, do laundry, get kids ready for bed, do more laundry, and crash at night exhausted after pleasing my husband.  

It’s just a stage, though.  They won’t always be this much work.  Someday, and I’m counting on this, they will be a blessing to me in so many ways.  It is a joy to sow a huge garden of children now so that I may reap many wonderful people in my life at the end of it.
