Hi ladies~
Do you wear the same hairstyle every day or do you change it up? Do you go to a salon or do it yourself? Trendy? Current? Out of date? Same style for years? Color? Highlight or lowlight? What’s going on with your hair?

    • Well a little bit of all those things you mentioned. I wear my hair natural an Afro, cut short. I do go to my barber to get it cut. I color it myself, it’s trendy always.

      much love

    • Hmmmm..... good question! I color and highlight. I used to leave it up to the fine stylists I worked with to decide color. My only rule was leave me a few blondes in front so I don’t go completely in shock. as I’m still shopping for a stylist I am sticking to cover the gray and add a few hilites. My hair has gotten a lot longer in the past year.... I will let my husband continue on his fantasy just a little longer before I go short again.

    • Ha!!  Perfect timing - I have a hair appointment tonight (guess that answers that part of the question!). I wear it in a pony tail 90% of the time - it is so stinkin' straight and fine -- and have worn it this way for several years.  I'm a "chemically enhanced" blonde!!

    • My stylist comes to my house. She works at a trendy lil place, but hard for me to get around in. So, she comes to me.

I let her try whatever cuts she wants on my hair. lol Sometimes she does the color, but it gets too expensive.

Hubby does my dye with loreal dark auburn. I was born with lucille ball orange hair, lol. Then it went dark dark dark with bits of red. So that color is the closest to my natural i can find.

Sometimes, I pull my hair all up on my head and cut 2 inches. Poof, it’s a shag! lol

    • You guys are awesome. lol
I have curly hair but it's cut in a long assymetrical bob with long front nice to either blow it out stick straight with a large round thermal brush & hit it with a flat iron to touch it up, or scrunch up the curls & blast it with some volume Voile'!!
It depends what I feel like doing. I straighten it more often than not.
As for color~ Natural brown but streaks just happen. I fill them in or foil/highlight my own. Sometimes platinum, sometimes carmels/reds. The only reason I can pull that off is b/c I have green eyes I think.. I don’t know.
I guess my bottom line answer is~ Change it up! Trendy, yet like to be unique about it. I like chic hair...

    • Funny you would ask! I went to the salon and got my hair done yesterday. I usually go to the salon every two weeks. I am particular about my hair and nails - LOL!

    • I go to a great colorist/stylist every five weeks because my hair is tricky (fine, lots of silver, below collarbone length.)She colors it to light golden brown, foils in some highlights, and trims. Most days I just put it up in a clip since I work from home, but if I’m going in to town I will either flat iron or curl it. I used to be so frustrated with my hair, but since I found my miracle worker woman Denise, I love it!

I have lived here in ga for all these years. I can’t even count how many stylist I’ve been to. Only to leave more dissapointed that the time before. It’s crazy. I am very picky about my hair, but come on?
I color myself. Alot of times I get so discouraged with thinking about going to get it cut that I cut it myself. I would rather mess it up, than pay someone to mess it up.
I have worn the Lisa Rhina look for many years because it seemed to suit my face fairly well. I like the messy look.
I have let it grow out and have been looking very hard for a new style that will fit me. Just haven’t found it yet.

    • tip: when you find a pic of a potential hairstyle, cover up the model’s face with your hand & just look at the hair itself. You’ll be more sure about it. Models look good in almost everything, etc. When you can see the hairstyle only, it’s a clearer decision for you.

    • My hairdresser retired.
      If I need a haircut, I wake him up;
grab him to the salon downstairs
and demand a gray touch up.
      I don’t pay money either
      I trade (a wink) - he’s my hubby!estatic

I am counting my blessings everyday.

    • I wish I had the time and talent to actually do something that would look good.  Anything more than a blow dryer, and sometimes that’s a challenge, is beyond my ability.  Unfortunately, all I ususally do is let it down.  But I’m getting ready to cut it all off again.  I tend to go really long, like now, to really short, then let it grow again.  I have the dreaded thin and straight, can’t do much with it, hair!  Yuck!

I have and my husband has colored my hair for me in the past. but it trashed my hair pretty bad. so i have a great hairdresser, who is aresident of mone at the apartment i work at. He is 70 years old and use to work in new york on models, and he studied hair in europe. My roots were showing and he colored them and with a technic he knows,he used the grey hair to make highlights. I wear my hair a little straighter now,but it is long past my shoulders, which I prefer. I have natural curly hair. I hope to post pictures soon.

    • I switch around Jenz..but my hair stylist is working my style into an asymmetrical bob like yours, longer in the front and shorter in the back..I also have wavy/curly hair and can go straight or curly..my natural hair color is dark brown, but I vary between a milk chocolate color with blended dark blonde/light brown highlights to darker brown with caramel to black with burgundy...depends on my mood and time of year...I did purchase the Instyler and it is the greatest tool made for hair..leaves your hair so silky and frizz free.happy
