As most of you know, one of the most popular ways to earn money online is to become an affiliate of an already established product. For instance, many people become affiliates of Amazon, because if you discuss a book in your blog or on your website, you can then add the Amazon link to that book. You will get a percentage of anything a reader buys on Amazon if they get there through your link.  

I’ve tried many ways to earn money as an affiliate, and I’m slowly discovering what sales techniques work and which don’t.

Here’s my newest implementation, and so far, it’s working well. It’s too new to know for sure if it will be a smashing success, but I have high hopes.

I used a new page on one of my websites, and turned it into a dedicated “boutique.” So instead of, say, just inserting the prepared advertising links throughout my site, I’m:

- doing it all on one page

- inserting my own text, instead of using the company’s prepared text (making it more personal)

- having just one affiliate-ship instead of many, and getting to know the products from that one company, so I can talk about them intelligently

- using a combination of the company’s prepared links and my own self-created links (With many affiliateships, you can create your own artwork and links.)

By the way, since my cyberboutique is new, I’d love your comments or critiques. My biggest questions are: 1)Should I take out the Google adsense ads (my guess is yes), and 2)Is the boutique easy to navigate and understand, or is it too crowded or confusing?
