Well, if you’ve read my profile, you’ll know I’m a Certified Zumba Instructor.
Zumba in a word is: AWESOME! If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t still be doing it.
I started out doing it in October 2009 mainly because I was interested in what it was. I found out quickly what it was and how much fun it could be, once I got past feeling embarrassed that everyone was watching me(even though they really weren’t)try to do these choreographed moves to Latin music as well as some hip hop music.
In all actuality, not one person pays any attention to anyone but the instructor.

Anyways..I lost a bit of weight from that and then maintained because I still kept eating the way I had been. Until one day, I decided I needed to lose a bit more.

I went to work on that and became a Zumba Instructor. I LOVE doing Zumba! I love making women feel good about themselves. Once you realize no one cares about how you‘re moving, you get into it and have FUN!!! And lost 36lbs in a year.

I now do fitness challenges along with the Zumba and will have a winner at the end of it. This time around, the winner gets $200.00 for losing the most weight. They are working hard and are in their 5th week heading towards their 10 week mark!

Have any of you tried Zumba? What did you like or not like about it? Any questions you have that I can answer, I certainly will do my best!!!

Til Later All...

    • Zumba is very popular where I live but I have yet to try it. I usually grab a quick 3 mile run on most mornings followed by some weight lifting before I dash off to school or work. But, I know several people who are loving Zumba. We even have classes on campus where I work and go to school but my schedule is too intense right now to take advantage of them.
