They say necessity is the mother of invention. Well, if that's true, then my need for beautiful and original creations gave birth to my designer within. You see my passion for fashion came early and stayed late. Actually, it never left, and it continues to inhabit every molecule of my being.

Even as a young child, I was very particular about the clothing and accessories I wore. Growing up I often found myself in the all-too-familiar predicament of having "nothing to wear." To remedy this, I began creating my own pieces, converting basics, such as jeans and a t-shirt, into unforgettable outfits. My creations quickly caught the eye of those around me, and as a result, my passion for the creative process intensified. Compliments and encouraging words along the way helped transform my personal passion into a fulltime career.

Fuelled with the desire to do something I enjoyed and a genetic propensity to design (my great grandmother was a hat designer, and my Mom is an artist), I am now living out my dream … creating one-of-a-kind pieces that I myself would love to wear. My creations typically feature such materials as vintage glass beads, lockets and brooches, semi-precious stones, metals, textiles and timber … all carefully selected from both near and far. While I often source materials right here in my home city of New Orleans, I also enjoy picking up special treasures from all corners of the globe.

I feel honored and privileged to be sharing my special creations with people from around the world, and nothing gives me greater joy than to hear people say my creations make them feel good. As for me, feeling good is what it's all about.
