    I love to READ! I have a personal library in my room. I usually am reading or re-reading 2-3 books at a time. Knowledge is POWER!
    My new found hobby is writing. I took a creative writing course this summer via internet. I was told I have the gift...who knew? I really like to journal my thoughts-good, bad, ugly or indifferent. My dream is to have a column where I can post these thoughts and receive feedback.
    Sports I like: Football (Go Giants) Baseball (Go Yankees) and basketball - Bulls, Celtics and yes the Knicks! Yes I am originally from NYC!
    I like to cook, bowl, decorate, watch HGTV, work out, and of course love to hang with my son!

    I like all kinds of music - depends on my mood. Favorite artists - Classic - Frank Sinatra, Barbra Striesand, Tina Turner, Bette, Celine... Rock - Eagles, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, All Dance Music - not so much on the hip hop however Leona Lewis is the next big one - she is awesome !

    Left out dancing :) I want to find a partner and take up ballroom dancing!

I am a single mother of an incredible 7 year old boy! My husband passed away 3.5 years ago. It’s been quite a journey for us and for me, I am just getting back to being me after childbirth. Who knew it could take 7 years??
I love life - the ups and downs because usually the downs are our learning curves. They make me a better me! I look forward to being a part of this site as I believe that 40+ is just the beginning of the REAL life!
