Elizabeth is the author of PERCOLATE - Let Your Best Self Filter Through (August 2013, Hay House)
Elizabeth learned early on to live her life with purpose and meaning. She has worked, since her teenage years, to raise the levels of awareness on issues near and dear to her heart, including the prevention of drinking and driving, increasing children's literacy, Stroke and Diabetes awareness and food allergy education and awareness. Early on, she also discovered the power of radio, television and print, which led her into a career as a broadcaster, spokesperson and radio/television personality and writer.
In 1998, Elizabeth had a near-death experience from an allergic reaction to almonds. Following pregnancy, Elizabeth had developed Anaphylaxis to multiple foods, including peanuts, nuts, fish and shellfish. In 1999, she suffered a second near-fatal reaction, while pregnant with her third son, from eating a cookie that she didn’t know contained walnuts. She and her unborn child were hospitalized for over a week in Minnesota following that reaction.
When Elizabeth met her husband Peter on November 7, 1998, he said the word "Kaizen." It was in those moments where Elizabeth became re-focused on change. With Peter and over several years, the couple and their growing family made a series of moves from the Midwest to the West Coast and then on to the East Coast. All the while making a series of "gradual improvements" to their lives, that have brought them to this point and which continue guiding them forward.
In 2006, Elizabeth became a food allergy spokesperson for MedicAlert Foundation (www.MedicAlert.org) and appeared on their magazine, which was mailed to over one million members. She continues in that role today, working closely with their executive team, appearing on their website and raising food allergy awareness internationally. Elizabeth also appears in the book, One of the Gang – Nurturing the Souls of Children with Food Allergies by Gina Clowes.
In 2008, Elizabeth quit a fifteen year career as corporate trainer in the financial services industry to start The Best Ever You Network. She understands first-hand the challenges life can bring and has worked with people across the globe to illuminate their light within and help them live their best life. As the CEO and Founder, guiding spirit and energy behind the Best Ever You brand, Elizabeth loves nothing more than bringing audiences together with the encouragement and inspiration they need. She hopes The Best Ever You Network and Percolate provide you with the inspiration, positive energy, and resources to be your BEST EVER!
Elizabeth has a BA in Mass Communications & Broadcasting, cum laude honors, from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. She is a Certified Life Coach and is mentored and inspired by Dr. Katie Eastman and esteemed Integrative expert Gary Kobat, who remind her that we‘re all enough. Elizabeth is married to her loving and supportive husband Peter and they have four wonderful boys. Learn more at www.BestEverYou.com and www.elizabethhamiltonguarino.com.
Hi,
just stopping by to wish you Happy Birthday!!!
Have a great one!
Are you free to give some advice? What do you do when you good friend’s husband goes off one night over dinner on his narrow minded politcal views that hit a bit close to home and insult your family? Esp. when there is anger involved. When your friend is completely quiet.
Congratulations Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino, CPC on your new Aquamarine status.
