Ahh, Butterfly, I wouldn’t dis anyone for missing their mates. Heck no, I applaud them. I didn’t mean to infer that I don’t miss mine when he’s out of town – I actually just had to hug him and send him on a plane to Tennessee, and literally had to swallow a lump in my throat. I truly meant it when I said I’ll adore him with my dying breath. I aleady miss him :o(
HOWEVER…
My girlfriend since the 7th grade (Geez, how long ago was that?) is coming to spend the night with me from several counties away! So, we will shop, eat, share a few drinks, and laugh all night long. It’s a special treat, that is the perfect distraction to missing my #1 love. Otherwise, it’d be sappy love movies, chocolates, and a box of tissues for me!
Nope – can’t fault the ladies who miss their men. Didn’t mean to imply otherwise. I understand very well. Thanks for speaking up! You ladies on this site have become a place of solitude for me. I’m so pleased to have found this awesome collection of women!
