    • Oh my girlfriend do we ever have a lot in common!!!  I was a single mother to four children (ages 13, 22, 23 & 26)...married my soul mate on April fools day 8 years ago...fell off a porch in ‘99 and as the result have had six knee surgeries since then.  Memorial Day 2007 - my husband and I were returning from a vacation on our motorcycles.  There was an accident somewhere ahead of us, traffic came to a very quick stop.  We were going 70 miles an hour on the interstate...long story short...motorcylces don’t stop that quick!  I moved over so I wouldn’t run in to the back of a truck and when I did - Jon ran in to me on my motorcycle with his motorcycle going 70mph. We have both had a year of surgeries...#6 knee surgery for me (this one related to the accident), back surgery on May 28 this year and foot surgery (not related to the accident) last Wednesday.

      In the husband department...I failed not once, not twice but three times when I picked them out myself.  I basically gave up and told God - NO MORE!  HE, however had other plans.  4 1/2 years ago a friend had me go on to this online dating service...and another long story short...I met my soul mate - my gift from God.  He is a man so he does have his faults, just like I have mine.  But I know that God put him here just for me.

      I am blessed to have you as a new girlfriend!  Keep your chin up - better days are coming!  And...by the way - I have a butterfly cane and crutches decorated by my drama group girls from church!! * Hugs - Jill
